music and DVDs website based in Europe. We are a branch of
the multilingual publishing company and Turkish books distributor,
Milet Publishing Ltd (www.milet.com),
and are operated out of the Milet office in London, and its
associated offices in London and Istanbul.
At TurkishBooks.com, our aim is to provide
you with the most extensive selection of Turkish books, music,
DVDs and other products, and with quick, efficient and assured
service and delivery.
When
you have found an item you wish to order click on the 'Add
to basket' button located near the picture of the item. Each
time you click on the 'Add to basket' button you will see
your shopping basket, stating the quantity and price of the
item(s) you have ordered. To purchase more than one of the
same item, enter the quantity you would like in the quantity
field and press the 'Update basket' button.
To delete items from the shopping basket
click on the box underneath the 'Delete' heading and press
the Update button. To empty your shopping basket completely,
click on 'Empty'. To continue searching for items press the
'Continue Shopping' button. You can put as many items into
your shopping basket as you like.
If
you are happy with the items in your shopping basket, proceed
to the checkout by clicking on the 'Checkout' button.
This
will take you to the checkout area. If you are a new user
you must click on the 'New users click here' button to enter
your customer details. If you are an existing user you can
enter your email and password and continue to the checkout.
If the customer details are correct, click on 'Login'. This
will connect your browser to World Pay's secure server. Your
order transaction will take place in a completely secure
environment so you can enter your details with guaranteed
security. While you are viewing this page you will see a
lock sign at the bottom of your browser window. This is also
a confirmation that you are in a secure zone where all transactions
are encrypted. Your credit card details will only be retained
by WorldPay ( http://www.worldpay.co.uk/about/ ).
Out of stock and out
of print items
We endeavour to keep stock in all titles
listed on the site. However, if the title you order is out
of stock, we will order it immediately from our supplier.
We update the site’s database daily
with information we receive from publishers and suppliers.
As soon as we learn from a publisher that a title is out
of print, notification of this will appear on the site. However,
an item may go out of print on the day that you place your
order, or a publisher may be late in notifying us that a
title is out of print. In this case, we will not be able
to supply your order and we will refund your payment within
5 working days. We will notify you via email when we have
processed your refund.
Within
the United Kingdom We use the following services for shipping orders:
Royal Mail, Parcel Force, ADT, ANC
Delivery times: 3-4 days for items that are in stock
10-15 days for items that are out of stock/ordered in
Outside
of the United Kingdom We use the following services for shipping international
orders: Royal Mail (post), HMC, TNT
Delivery times: 7-10 days for items that are in stock
15-20 days for items that are out of stock/ordered in
Late
delivery If you have not received your order within the specified

We will check on the status and inform you of the expected
delivery date by return email.
Returns policy
This applies to all items purchased
from Turkishbooks.com, EXCEPT for magazines – we
do not accept returns for magazines.
7-day
return policy on all incorrect or damaged orders
If you need to return your order because it is incorrect,
faulty or damaged, you can return it to us in its original
condition within 7 days of the date it is received, and we
will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
CDs, DVDs and Multimedia items must be unopened (with any
seals and shrink-wrap intact) for returns to be accepted.
How
to return
Please follow the steps below to enable us to process
your refund efficiently:
• On the back of the delivery note, please provide the reason for the return.
• If you do not have the original delivery note, please send us a note
detailing the reason for return. Please include your order number.
• In the case of a faulty product, please provide a full description of
the fault on the delivery note.
• Wrap the item securely in its original packaging.
• Send the package to the address below (For your protection we recommend
that you use a recorded delivery service when returning the item):

when it is delivered to you and the delivery person is present,
please do not sign for the package and ask the delivery person
to return the package to sender (TurkishBooks.com).
Our relationship with our customers is based

until you begin to place an order. When you order, we will
need to know your name, address, credit/debit card details
and telephone number or email address. It is necessary for
you to provide this information so that we can process your
