I am not a Studio Artist

I am Not a Studio Artist features a selection of Alptekin's own writings, published and unpublished interviews, as well as texts by Michel Foucault, Vasıf Kortun, Michel Oren, Sabine Vogel and Tirdad Zolghadr. Edited by Duygu Demir of Salt Research and Programs and reflecting the comprehensive archival research undertaken, the publication gives a sense of Alptekins intellectual interests, his correspondence, and follows the themes that informed his artistic practice. The publication is rich in texts as well as in visual content. The graphic designer of the publication is Vahit Tuna, a close friend of Alptekins, which also reflects the personal approach of the project.
